EV Inspiration Express Community Benefits Initiatives

Community Business Incubator’s (CBI) Electric Vehicle – the Inspiration Express (EVIE) Mobile Training Center fosters creativity; establishes collaborations across multiple disciplines with partners from business, energy sustainability, social engineering and will promote environmental education. EVIE generates opportunities that enhance the Communities of Concerns economic vitality and equity throughout the greater San Diego area.

EVIE’s Initiatives

• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to address the communities’ key issues such as under-employment, entrepreneurship, environmental inequity, exclusion of people of color from a $488 billion dollar per year industries (game development training).
• Educate and train the next generation of energy sustainability experts and practitioners to meet the needs of community residents, local businesses, governments and non-profits organizations.
• To take the STEAM programs to where the needs are most; to educate our youth and the general public about the gaming industry and the opportunity to socially engineer (change) behavior through positive inclusive game development
• EV education; showcase new technologies, from leading governments, industries leaders and more i.e. Tesla, Ford, Environmental Agencies etc. A model mobile educational experience
• Sustainability issues through community engagement, curriculum, publications, web forums, and seminars and conferences.

Our Mission

The Inspiration Express’s primary mission is to take these opportunities to where the need is most, to advance sustainability through regional collaborations in higher education, research, stewardship, and outreach to ensure that generations of students will gain the skills and abilities that will allow our region to grow, prosper, and sustain itself in the long term.
